Yandina Quarry

The Yandina site operates as a washed plant, and recycles returned concrete into concrete blocks (which are available for sale upon request), as well as maintaining a stockpile of river rock that gets processed as needed.

Acid Sulphate Disposal

We dispose of acid sulphate materials by submerging them underwater. We regularly monitor pH levels in our settling and dredge ponds and perform maintenance as required. All activities follow our site-based management procedures.

Site Regulators

The Sunshine Coast Council are in regular contact with our Quarry Manager and conduct regular site visits and comprehensive compliance checks.

Reporting Concerns

It's important for us to hear about any issues or concerns related to the quarry so we can address them promptly. We encourage any concerns to be reported as per the following.

Required Information

When making a complaint be prepared to give up the following information:

  1. Be prepared to provide your name and a contact phone number.
  2. Indicate the location and time of the event that led to the complaint, and (if applicable) the registration number of the vehicle involved.

In case of emergencies, do not hesitate to contact the police directly.

After Report

  1. The complainant will be contacted no later than the next business day after the complaint is received.
  2. Details of the complaint will be recorded in our complaints register.
  3. Each complaint will be investigated promptly.
  4. Complainants will be informed of the investigation's results as soon as possible.
  5. A verbal response will be provided within three business days of contacting the complainant.

A comprehensive record of all complaints and actions will be taken.
